Gun violence in America has reached epidemic proportions; 109 lives a day were claimed in 2017 alone. What can be done to address this concern as a public health issue?

The University of Michigan Detroit Center hosts a discussion Thursday, Feb. 25 at 6 p.m. as part of its Eye on Detroit series that will address the roles research and education can play in helping curb the violence.
